FAQ

I. How do I book?

Ready to book? Just click the Contact Me page at the very top of my website, it’ll walk you through sending me an email with all the details I need to get started! From there, I’ll follow up to plan your session together. I try my best to respond within 2–5 days, so keep an eye on your inbox... I can’t wait to chat with you!

II. How far should I book in advance?

To secure your preferred date, I recommend booking your session at least 4 to 6 weeks in advance. During high demand seasons, like the holidays or senior season I recommend booking months ahead. Planning ahead helps ensure you get the timing and experience you're looking for.

III. Do you travel?

I’m always willing to travel for sessions and weddings! No matter where your location is, I’d love to chat about making it happen. Please keep in mind that travel fees do apply depending on the distance and mileage, which we can discuss more when you reach out.

IV. Do we pay a deposit to hold our date?

To reserve your date, I do require a $50 deposit! This amount goes toward your total package price, so it’s not an extra fee, just a way to lock in your spot! Please note that the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or don’t show up, since it covers the time I set aside just for you.

V. What is the turn around time for a gallery?

I aim to deliver your final edited gallery within 2 to 4 weeks after your session. Weddings tend to be around the 6-9 week mark! I always strive to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible without compromising on quality!

VI. How early should I arrive?

Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your session. This gives us a little buffer in case of traffic or last-minute touch-ups, and ensures we can start on time and make the most of your session. Arriving early helps everything feel relaxed and unhurried, which always shows in your photos!

VII. What do you recommend wearing?

Choosing the right outfit can make a big difference in how your photos turn out! I recommend wearing something that makes you feel comfortable and confident. Neutral tones and soft colors tend to photograph well, but feel free to add pops of color if it suits your style. Avoid busy patterns, logos, or anything too flashy, as these can distract from the main focus, you! If you’re doing a session with multiple people, coordinating outfits without being too matchy is a great way to ensure everyone looks cohesive. Most importantly, wear something that feels you... the best photos come when you’re feeling your best!

VIII. What should I not bring to a session?

Please try to avoid wearing hair ties or wrist accessories, as they can be distracting in photos. Also, be sure to empty your pockets of bulky items like phones, keys, or wallets to keep your look clean and polished. A quick check for lint or wrinkles beforehand helps too, and if you wear glasses, give them a wipe to avoid smudges or glare. Little things like these really make a difference in how your photos turn out!
